The Citroen DS4 made it first debut worldwide in 2011 worldwide but in some countries it has been around since year 2010. The baseline of this car is derived from the Citroen C4 II, the DS4 can be considered as a compact SUV with raised up suspension and also a coupe hatchback with its rear doors being repositioned to give a coupe silhouette. Like other coupes, the rear windscreen of this DS4 is fixed and dont slide or opened outwards. This model made its first debut in Malaysia in February 2013. 

The target market for this car is for those who wants to own a coupe cars with a unique character. Young executives and young families are the targeted clients for this model. The DS4 offers one a compact SUV and coupe feels without compromising the comfort as well as the handling of this car. hatchback with its rear doors being repositioned to give a coupe silhouette. The multifunction steering wheels placed the auto cruise with speed limiter buttons, parking space proximity buttons, volume buttons as well as phone button when the bluetooth handsfree is activated. And yes, the color of the display on the instrument cluster can be personalized according to one's liking and also the signal sound can also be changed to make it more personalized and having sense of belonging inside the car. This is one of the features that is not available on other makes and models. 

This car is powered with PSA engine giving a healthy 163 bhp @ 240 Nm and the power kicks in from 1,400 rpm with Variable Valve Timing and twin scroll turbo (variable geometric turbo) and mated to 6 speed AT6 automatic transmission. However if one craves for more power and performance, a 200 bhp @ 275 Nm is also available and only available in 6 speed manual transmission. This engines can go up to 212 km/h and sprints from 0-100 km/h in 9.3 seconds in the automatic version. On the other hand, the manual version can go up to 234 km/h with 7.9 seconds from 0-100 km/h. Full tank for this car is 60 liters and it gives 7.0-8.0 l/100km of fuel in combined.
